Supply Chain Coordinator
Long Eaton

Full Time

We are recruiting for an experienced Supply Chain Coordinator on behalf of our client, a specialist manufacturing company in Long Eaton, on the outskirts of Derby and Nottingham.

You will be joining the logistics team to support the warehouse and logistics operations throughout the site from manufacture to dispatch. Acting as point of contact for both internal departments and customers alike, you will be an integral part to ensuring the smooth running of the department.

Working Hours:

Full Time, 40 hours p/w

Monday - Thursday 08:00-17:00

Friday 08:00 - 14:00

Day to Day includes:

  • Coordinating the daily transport plans, ensuring warehouse and dispatch operations run efficiently and on time.

  • Acting as main point of contact for the warehouse team, drivers, customers and 3PL providers.

  • Ensuring paperwork and online data is processed and logged correctly following process.

  • Keeping customers up to date in regards to orders and delivery.

  • Rectifying any logistics based issues e.g. delivery delays, errors etc…

  • Other ADHOC warehouse duties.

About you:
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a hands on transport/logistics role.

  • Good Knowledge in logistics and transport practices/regulations.

  • Good knowledge of EU, import/export and customs regulations.

  • Ability to take initiative and priorities workload.

  • Proactive in detail checking and resolving any issues

  • Experience with Syteline ERP system would be beneficial.

  • Confident communicator.

  • Fluent in English both verbal and written.
