Our client is a leading design and manufacturing business serving the aerospace, medical and industrial sectors. Due to continued expansion, they are looking for two junior Supply Chain Coordinators to join their growing team!
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone at the beginning of their supply-chain career. As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will receive full training while supporting international suppliers, production orders, purchasing and logistics.
Supply Chain Coordinator Roles and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate components and finished goods with overseas manufacturing partners
- Monitor production schedules, purchase orders and order progress
- Chase suppliers and factories for updates and outstanding information
- Identify shortages, delays and logistics risks, escalating concerns when required
- Arrange international freight and liaise with logistics providers
- Support supplier onboarding, reapproval and documentation
- Assist with monthly supplier scorecards and performance reviews
- Raise purchase orders and monitor supplier confirmations and commitments
- Maintain accurate supply-chain and compliance records
- Support OGEL and import/export compliance activities
- Work closely with Purchasing, Production, Sales and other internal departments
Supply Chain Coordinator Ideal Candidate:
- Relevant degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Manufacturing or a similar subject; alternatively, relevant qualifications with at least one year’s experience in a related role
- Experience within supply chain, logistics, purchasing, manufacturing, order management or coordination
- Recent graduates with a relevant degree are encouraged to apply
- Strong organisation and prioritisation skills
- Proactive approach to following up actions and resolving problems
- Analytical, accurate and attentive to detail
- Confident communicating with suppliers and internal departments
- Competent using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Fluent written and spoken English
- MRP or ERP experience would be advantageous but is not essential
- Electronics or another technical industry background would be beneficial
- Mandarin or Cantonese language skills would be advantageous but are not required
Supply Chain Coordinator Working Hours and Benefits:
- 36.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
- Flexible start and finish times
