Supply Chain Coordinator

10 Month Contract

Certain Advantage are hiring for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join on an initial 10-month contract basis.

Role Overview

The Supply Chain Coordinator, acting as the process operator for the 'Supply External Products and Services' process, is responsible for ensuring that the correct parts are delivered to the right location, in the right quantity, and at the right time, in full alignment with customer requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and monitor purchase orders to ensure alignment to requirements
  • Optimise ordering parameters (safety stock/safety time, batch size, reorder point) in line with influencing factors (delivery performance, quality performance, economic order quantity, demand fluctuation)
  • Manage reordering tasks after rejection, scrap/damages
  • Monitor and manage delivery forecasts and 'line of balance' through regular interaction with suppliers
  • Perform monitoring through process performance measures and KPIs (Ordering measures, Missing Parts, Stock KPIs, Level of Service)
  • Ensure clear and regular communication to all internal customers based across the world and that the escalation process is initiated in a timely manner where required to avoid impacts to build through late supply
  • Participate in supplier performance reviews/provide performance feedback to supplier where required
  • Analyse MRP and Supply External Product exception messages
  • Where required monitor supplier stock and support the Scrap/Sell/transfer process
