Supply Chain Coordinator

Long Eaton

£26,000 - £28,000

Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 08:00–17:00 & Friday: 08:00–14:00

Full Time – Permanent

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading specialist manufacturing company based in Long Eaton, conveniently located between Derby and Nottingham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and IT-savvy Supply Chain Coordinator to join a dynamic logistics team. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting all areas of the supply chain — from production planning to dispatch — using ERP systems, data platforms, and digital tools to ensure smooth and accurate operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate daily transport and logistics plans using ERP systems and scheduling tools.

Act as the digital point of contact between internal teams, customers, drivers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers.

Maintain accurate records in ERP (preferably Syteline) and other digital platforms for all dispatch, freight, and customs activity.

Manage import/export documentation in line with UK-EU customs procedures and international shipping regulations.

Monitor and update order and delivery statuses via email, portals, and logistics platforms.

Resolve transport and warehouse issues, using systems to trace shipments and document root causes.

Support the logistics team with data input, reporting, and analysis.

Participate in physical stock checks or warehouse activity when required (approx. 30% of the role).

Key Skills:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supply chain, transport, or logistics environment.

Strong IT proficiency — confident working with ERP systems (Syteline ideal), Excel, and logistics databases.

Good knowledge of UK and EU logistics practices, customs procedures, and freight documentation.

Highly organised, detail-focused, and proactive in problem-solving.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Able to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced setting.
