Job description

On behalf of our client, we are seeking to recruit a Supply Chain Coordinator on an initial 4-month contract. As the Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for monitoring the delivery of the right part at the right time, in the right quantity, to the right place, in accordance with customer needs.

Supply Chain Coordinator

Pay:

Up to 30.69 per hour via Umbrella

Location:

Filton - 60% onsite

Contract:

Monday - Friday, 35 hours per week, 4 months contract

IR35 Status:

Inside

Security Clearance:

BPSS

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and monitor purchase orders to ensure alignment with requirements
  • Optimize ordering parameters (safety stock, safety time, batch size, reorder point) considering influencing factors such as delivery performance, quality, economic order quantity, and demand fluctuations
  • Manage reordering tasks after rejection, scrap, or damages
  • Monitor and manage delivery forecasts and 'line of balance' through regular interaction with suppliers
  • Perform monitoring through process performance measures and KPIs (ordering measures, missing parts, stock KPIs, level of service)
  • Ensure clear and regular communication with all internal customers and initiate escalation processes timely to prevent impacts on build due to late supply
  • Participate in supplier performance reviews and provide feedback
  • Support troubleshooting for delivery issues, goods receipt, quality notices, and invoices
  • Analyze MRP and supply external product exception messages
  • Monitor supplier stock and support scrap, sell, or transfer processes as required
