Job summary

Envirogen Group is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Coordinator in the United Kingdom. The role supports procurement, purchasing, inventory management, logistics and supplier coordination to ensure manufacturing and projects run smoothly.

You will manage quotations, raise purchase orders, expedit deliveries, and work with internal teams to maintain material availability. Strong ERP and MS Office skills, plus cost awareness, are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience within purchasing, procurement or supply chain operations.
• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Good working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of procurement processes, supplier management and stock control.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost control.
• Knowledge of import/export processes (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Managing the end-to-end purchasing process, from quotations to purchase orders and expediting deliveries.
• Coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain material availability.
• Supporting logistics activities, including inbound/outbound shipments and freight coordination.
• Monitoring inventory levels, stock shortages and reorder requirements.
• Maintaining accurate ERP records, supplier information and purchasing data.
• Resolving delivery, quality, quantity and invoice queries.
• Monitoring supplier performance and identifying opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
• Producing reports on purchasing activity, inventory and supplier performance.

What you'll do

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you'll play a key role in supporting procurement, purchasing, inventory management, logistics and supplier coordination. This is a varied role that combines hands-on purchasing administration with wider operational support, helping to ensure manufacturing and project teams have what they need to deliver successfully.

Key responsibilities include:

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

• Experience within purchasing, procurement or supply chain operations.
