Job summary

Envirogen is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to join our team in the UK. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will support procurement, purchasing, inventory management, logistics and supplier coordination to keep manufacturing and project activities supplied and on track.

The role combines hands-on purchasing administration with broader operational support, requiring strong organisational skills and a clear customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience within purchasing, procurement or supply chain operations.
• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Good working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of procurement processes, supplier management and stock control.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to cost control.
• Knowledge of import/export processes (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, support procurement, purchasing, inventory management, logistics and supplier coordination.
• End-to-end purchasing process management from quotations to purchase orders and expediting deliveries.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to maintain material availability.
• Assist logistics activities including inbound/outbound shipments and freight coordination.
• Monitor inventory levels, stock shortages and reorder requirements.
• Maintain ERP records, supplier data and purchasing information.
• Resolve delivery, quality, quantity and invoice queries.
• Monitor supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Produce reports on purchasing activity, inventory and supplier performance.
