Supply Chain Business Analyst
Location: Remote (UK)
Permanent
At RS Group, we’re on a journey of digital transformation—and we’re looking for a passionate and forward-thinking Supply Chain Business Analyst to play a key role in that evolution. You’ll work closely with our technology teams and business stakeholders to deliver projects that transform our supply chain operations, including warehouse upgrades, logistics improvements, and transport optimisation.
As part of our wider Business Analyst Practice, you’ll join a collaborative and experienced BA community where learning, sharing, and growing are at the core. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute to cross-functional projects and expand your experience across other portfolios.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Elicit, define, and document clear business requirements that reflect real business needs.
  • Own and manage requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensuring traceability and quality.
  • Collaborate with Architects to ensure proposed solutions align with business goals.
  • Partner with Engineers and key stakeholders to support solution development and delivery.
  • Plan and manage your own analysis workload and contribute to overall project planning.
  • Use structured problem-solving and critical thinking to explore options and define effective solutions.
  • Support vendor selection processes, including documenting evaluation criteria and supporting assessments.
  • Facilitate engaging and productive workshops with stakeholders to refine requirements and gather insights.
  • Create process models, user journeys, and other artefacts to support analysis and decision-making.

About You
You’re someone who thrives on understanding how things work and making them better. You’re analytical, collaborative, and passionate about delivering real value through business transformation. Whether you're mapping supply chain processes or shaping new system functionality, you approach every task with curiosity and attention to detail.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within the Supply Chain or Logistics domain.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain processes, systems, and operations (SAP/EWM/WMS/WCS) knowledge is a plus).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for process improvement.
  • Experience with business analysis techniques such as user stories, use cases, and process modelling (e.g., BPMN, As-is/To-be diagrams).
  • Comfortable facilitating workshops and using various requirements elicitation methods.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity and build trust with stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Visio, Confluence, JIRA, or similar.
  • A proactive mindset—you know when to take initiative and go the extra mile to ensure delivery.
  • A collaborative team player with a desire to continuously improve and learn.

The extras you’ll get:

At RS, as well as the usual employee benefits you’d expect from a FTSE listed company, including annual performance bonus, enhanced maternity and paternity leave, private healthcare, in the UK&I, we’ve just introduced a number of new Family Friendly Policies including:

  • Help for people to take control of ongoing Health conditions such as diabetes or asthma with £500 a year available for monitoring & consultation
  • Support for Neurodiverse colleagues and families with neurodiverse members with needs assessment, diagnosis and post diagnostic support for autism spectrum, ADHD and Tourette’s syndrome
  • Support for Women at different life stages from streamlined fertility support through to diagnosis and monitoring of both endometriosis and menopause
  • Helping our LGBTQ+ community through enhanced coverage for trans colleagues, including voice coaching, facial surgery and gender confirmation surgery
  • Additions to Fertility coverage including IVF for lesbian couples and information/support around surrogacy and adoption for all.
