Job summary

Avara Foods is seeking a Supply Chain Apprentice to join the Order Management Team at the Hereford site. You will work within the Supply Chain Function and deal with customers, logistics teams and internal planning groups, starting with customer support tasks in the early months.

The role includes a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship, structured training, and ongoing development within a leading UK poultry producer.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understand of Excel desirable.
• Flexible, resilient approach with good problem solving skills.
• Ability to effectively time manage and prioritise tasks.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Enthusiastic and keen to learn.

Responsibilities

• EDI Order Management in our ERP System Oracle for our retail customers.
• Order Amendments where required for all customers in Oracle.
• Order Release for all customers in Oracle and sending order information to despatch teams.
• Enter and process all Food Service orders including any direct store delivery requests.
• Enter and process commercial sales orders.
• Update and manage product life concessions in the system.
• General enquiries from internal teams and customers.
• General Admin Tasks.
