Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Supply Chain Apprentice. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience in logistics, customer service, and inventory management while working towards a Level 3 Supply Chain qualification.

Responsibilities will include:

• System administration for customer orders
• Transport planning and coordination with 3rd party transport suppliers
• Liaison with production sites and suppliers to align with customer requirements
• Purchasing of services and products
• Inventory control and management
• Checking 3rd party invoices
• Supporting customers with supply chain enquiries
• Using IT systems for the supply chain, including company and customer systems, and adhering to cyber security and GDPR regulations and policies
• Developing and implementing a supply plan, including supply planning, production planning, demand planning, and operations planning
• Using order management tools to capture customer orders
• Analyzing data against supply chain key performance indicators to identify trends and themes
• Planning and adhering to customer lead times
• Using data analysis outcomes to inform decision making in the supply chain function
