Supply Chain and Warehouse Coordinator Hockley £25,000 – £30,000 per annum
Our client is looking to hire a Supply Chain and Warehouse Coordinator to help them purchase materials at competitive prices and control the flow of stock through their warehouse.
Job Purpose
Purchase best quality materials at the most competitive prices whilst taking into consideration Modern Slavery and Ethical Trading Policies
Ensure purchasing of material for operational purposes
Control the flow of stock through the warehouse, receiving, moving, checking and storing incoming goods
Manage Health and Safety in the warehouse and perimeter, ensuring they are kept clean and tidy at all times
Duties and Responsibilities
Dealing with daily/weekly purchasing of materials
Develop and manage the price agreement process, ensuring validity of vendor price lists
Develop and implement long-term supply agreements
Manage daily/weekly plant hire
Communicate with suppliers
Collate materials list
PAT testing equipment
General tidying of perimeter, engineers cabin, office area, and warehouse
Stock Control
Register and clear all invoices for purchase ledger
Update FGAS, uniform, stock, and any other procurement/warehouse related logs
Skills
Experience of buying mechanical and electrical materials
Ability to initiate, develop and implement buying strategies
IT Literate
Able to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
Able to work under pressure and handle emergency and stressful situations
