A leading aviation consultancy is seeking a Supply Chain & Quality Manager to monitor supplier performance and manage quality assurance activities. This fully onsite role in Derby offers an hourly rate of £41. Candidates should have a strong background in supply chain and quality management, particularly within the aerospace industry. The contract will run until December 2026.

Job description

Our client has an opportunity for a Supply Chain & Quality Manager to join them on a contract basis until December 2026. You will be responsible for suppliers' performance monitoring.

Role Details

Role: Supply Chain & Quality Manager
Location: Derby - fully onsite
Hours: 35 per week
Hourly Rate: £41.00 per hour via Umbrella, inside IR35
Clearance: BPSS required to start

Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Management:
    • Suppliers' performance monitoring
    • Load and capacity analysis
    • Rate readiness analysis
    • Supply chain intelligence management
    • Transfer of work management
    • Design change industrialisation management
  • Quality Management:
    • Correction: non-conformity eradication (Events / SARI / QSR / Concessions)
    • Prevention: implementation and management of APQP and quality improvement plan (SQIP)
  • Risk Management:
    • Risks identification and assessment
    • Mitigation plan definition and execution
Required Skills
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, manufacturing engineering and quality
