Job summary

Rapier Employment are recruiting for a Supply Chain Analyst (Packaging & Logistics) to join a busy logistics operation in Solihull. The role blends data analysis with hands-on site activities, supporting packaging availability and production requirements.

You will work with suppliers, freight providers and internal teams to resolve issues, identify improvement opportunities and contribute to cost-reduction projects. Full training is provided in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in supply chain, logistics, manufacturing or production environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Positive, proactive attitude and ability to prioritise multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Manage packaging-related queries and operational issues.
• Investigate packaging shortages, defects and supplier concerns.
• Analyze logistics and packaging data to identify trends and improvements.
• Maintain accurate information across internal systems.
• Support continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with suppliers, freight providers and operations teams.
• Monitor packaging performance and availability.
• Produce reports and data-driven recommendations.
• Escalate risks and help implement corrective actions.
