Job Title: Supply Chain Analyst - Devices

Oxford Nanopore Technologies, headquartered at the Oxford Science Park outside Oxford, UK, with satellite offices across the US, APAC, and Europe, is seeking a highly motivated Supply Chain Analyst - Devices. Role Overview

You will report to the Supply Chain Manager and work collaboratively across the business with key process partners. Your primary responsibility is to convert the finished goods demand plan and forecast into actionable production schedules, ensuring the right flow of materials to meet sales orders on time and in full.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Create and implement production schedules for Devices, maintaining inventory buffers within agreed ranges.
  2. Collaborate with internal partners to understand business requirements and develop clear, executable production plans.
  3. Deliver weekly production status reports for key meetings.
  4. Raise purchase requisitions/orders, process work orders, and reconcile invoices.
  5. Support change management for new product introductions, including updates to parts, bills of materials, and costs on ERP and inventory systems.
  6. Identify and escalate concerns impacting customers or business needs.
  7. Manage buffer stock using Demand Driven Materials Requirement Planning.
  8. Proactively manage inventory with key partners to reduce aged or obsolete stock.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Experience in a regulated and non-regulated manufacturing environment with extensive supply chain and scheduling expertise. Strong understanding of BOMs, routings, manufacturing processes, MRP/ERP systems (preferably AX Dynamics 365), and operations.

Proactive, adaptable, and collaborative with a flexible approach to changing priorities. Detail-oriented, accurate, and capable of working under pressure. Excellent interpersonal communication skills to engage at all levels. Driven to enable solutions and implement best practices. Commercial awareness and experience in purchasing new products. Certifications such as APICS/CIPS/ASCM or similar are preferred.
