Role Overview

As part of the growing Supply Chain team, this role provides essential administrative support, including ordering stock, tracking deliveries, and processing orders.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process requisitions and purchase orders for goods, services, and supplies.
  • Expedite purchase orders regularly and update the ERP system accordingly.
  • Support delivery schedule management with suppliers.
  • Communicate and escalate issues related to procurement.
  • Escalate unforeseen procurement delays affecting manufacturing.
  • Evaluate reports to determine purchasing needs and create purchase orders.
  • Understand supplier capabilities and capacity.
  • Maintain accurate purchase order data in the system.
  • Assist in supply chain projects.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Understanding of customer demand signals and escalation risks.
  • Experience with production scheduling and purchase order planning/processing.
  • Experience working with multi-stakeholder inputs.
  • Knowledge of supplier performance metrics and evaluation.
  • Experience working in environments emphasizing H&S and Quality compliance.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills without line management authority.
  • Willingness to learn and take responsibility.

Qualifications

  • Level 2 Maths and English (Essential).
