Morgan Philips is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Analyst to join a dynamic team within the Energy and Utilities sector in Surrey. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate this this field, or come with 1-2 years' work experience, and play a critical role in ensuring efficient supply chain operations by managing stock levels, preparing forecasts, and maintaining accurate documentation. Please note that this role is mainly office based - 4 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain up-to-date stock sheets for import terminals, intermediary storage locations, and end supply locations to ensure accurate monitoring of inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to prepare supply forecasts for demand.
  • Check and confirm incoming invoices while preparing outgoing invoices to ensure timely financial transactions.
  • Assist in month-end reconciliation processes for purchases, sales, stock movements, and invoicing to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Coordinate product supply, maintaining stock target levels to meet operational demands.
  • Continuously update the Trading and Risk Management system to reflect real-time data and operational changes.
  • Collaborate with Supply Operations Coordinators to generate monthly product purchase and logistics nominations in alignment with contractual obligations.
  • Verify supplier invoices against contractual terms and facilitate prompt payment processes.
  • Maintain accurate stock sheets to track inbound and outbound product movements, ensuring compliance with inventory targets and Company Supply Obligations.
  • Learn and understand CSO fundamentals, including calculations and implications for the business, and assist with monthly CSO declarations to relevant government departments.
  • Monitor and raise any forecast supply or stock issues, ensuring effective communication with suppliers.
  • Compile and provide month-end stock reports and accounting summaries for management review.
  • Maintain Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports for monthly assessments.
  • Ensure ISO/BMS conformity across operations, with meticulous attention to filing requirements and documentation.
  • Maintain an up-to-date and accurate contract database to support operational efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supply chain, inventory management, or a related role, preferably within the Energy and Utilities industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of inventory management principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, with advanced skills in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, v-lookup).
  • Familiarity with ETRM systems, specifically Amphora Symphony, is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in month-end financial reconciliations and reporting.
  • Knowledge of ISO/BMS standards and compliance requirements.
  • Understanding of key performance metrics and supply chain best practices.
