A healthcare organization in Letchworth is seeking a Supplies Supervisor to manage the inventory team and oversee the delivery of medical supplies. The role involves ensuring compliance with operational procedures and training staff while handling procurement challenges. The ideal candidate should be experienced in supply chain management and capable of leading a team to maintain operational efficiency.
The Supplies supervisor is an integral part of the Procurement and Supplies team management structure, responsible for the line management of a team of Supplies inventory assistants that receive incoming deliveries, check goods are received, and respond to orders from across the Trust sites and ensure the accurate picking and dispatch of goods ordered. The post holder will support and deputise for (where appropriate) the Procurement and Supplies Manager overseeing the receipt and delivery of Medical Consumables, Equipment, PPE, and Pharmacy products ensuring compliance with Trust Operating procedures, and other relevant legislation and best practice guidance.
