Location: Cobalt Hospital, Newcastle Upon Tyne

Hours: 24 hours per week, Part-time (08:00-16:30 - Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday - flexible)

Salary: Depending on experience + Benefits

Summary:

Cobalt Hospital has been delivering health services for many years and has established a reputation with patients and the healthcare community for consultant led services and high patient satisfaction. Registered with the Care Quality Commission patients can be assured of the highest standards in surgical, nursing, hygiene and aftercare services at Cobalt.The endoscopy service has recently achieved Joint Advisory Group accreditation an industry standard for the delivery of endoscopy procedures so patients can be assured they will receive the highest quality of clinical care and patient experience.

The role:

We currently have a excellent opportunity for a Supplies Co-ordinator/ Stores Assistantto join our team at our Cobalt Hospital, based in Newcastle Upon Tyne. As a Supplies Co-ordinator, you will be a dynamic, self-motivated, computer literate person with good communication and interpersonal skills.You must be a team player and will have preferably worked in a stock control or goods-in environment previously, though this is not essential as full training will be given.
As a Supplies Coordinator you will be joining a team responsible for handling all orders and management of stock coming into the hospital. You will be responsible for the control of the ordering and stock control of the consumables and equipment needed in the hospital. You will also be required to carry out regular stock takes, place orders for goods as well as dispatching and putting away deliveries. The Supplies Coordinator is to support with barcoding, Vim invoices, and the ordering of stock, deliveries for the hospital. SAP experience would be desirable.

Please note, this will be a hands on role and there will be lots of lifting and being on your feet. You will not be in the office all the time.

English and Mathematics are an essential part of the role as is a good standard of general education.Some knowledge of medical terminology would be beneficial, though not essential.You must have a keen eye for detail.
