Job summary

Complete Talent Services Ltd is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure purchased products, processes and services meet contractual and regulatory requirements. You will work with suppliers and internal teams to maintain a capable, compliant supply chain through supplier approval, audits and corrective action.

The role involves supporting supplier selection, assessment and re-evaluation, plus leading or supporting root-cause investigations and supplier audits against QMS and AS9100

Qualifications

• Experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality or similar engineering environment.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent QMS.
• Experience resolving supplier quality issues and implementing corrective actions using root-cause methods.
• Knowledge of AS9100/BS EN 9100 and APQP/PPAP.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support supplier selection, assessment, approval and re-evaluation and maintain Approved Supplier List and quality records.
• Assess supplier capability, identify risks and agree controls and improvement plans; support qualification of new suppliers and processes.
• Ensure suppliers understand POs, drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
• Review certificates of conformity, material certificates and inspection records; support First Article Inspection to AS9102.
• Investigate supplier non-conformances and manage SCARs; liaise on concessions and deviations.
• Lead root-cause investigations using 8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, PFMEA and Pareto analysis.
