Job summary

G&P Group is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer focused on body panels, composites, carbon fibre and exterior systems for a contract-based role in Surrey. The role emphasizes containment, recovery actions and driving supplier performance improvements across exterior commodities.

You'll work with suppliers, engineering and manufacturing teams to own supplier quality concerns, implement containment, and ensure corrective actions are sustainable and effective in protecting vehicle

Qualifications

Proven supplier quality engineering experience in automotive manufacturing.
Experience with body panels, composites, exterior systems and related commodities.
Strong understanding of containment, recovery and production protection processes.
Familiarity with APQP/PPAP, PFMEA, control plans and 8D/problem-solving methods.

Responsibilities

Manage supplier quality concerns across body panels, composites and exterior systems.
Lead containment activities to protect production and vehicle build.
Coordinate CSL1/CSL2 activities through containment exit.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D and 5 Why.
Interface with suppliers and cross-functional teams; provide status updates.
