Job summary

Filtronic is an award-winning designer and manufacturer of RF, microwave and mmWave solutions in the UK. We seek a Supplier Quality Engineer to strengthen supplier quality, drive performance and ensure our supply chain meets the high standards our customers expect.

Reporting to the Quality Lead, you will own supplier quality management processes, audit suppliers, investigate issues and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Experience in supplier quality management within manufacturing/engineering.
• Strong audit and supplier performance monitoring skills.
• Experience managing supplier corrective actions (SCARs).
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality systems.
• Root-cause analysis and preventive action experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop supplier quality management processes and controls.
• Develop and report supplier quality KPIs and performance.
• Manage onboarding, qualification and ongoing performance of suppliers.
• Establish supplier quality requirements and expectations.
• Plan and conduct supplier quality audits and follow-through actions.
• Identify risks and drive continuous improvement in supplier quality.
