Job description

Remote Supplier Quality Engineer Opportunity (UK-Based)

Are you an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer looking for a challenging remote role with international travel? My client is seeking two highly motivated individuals to join their team, supporting their Huddersfield site.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a 12-month full-time contract (37.5 hours per week). While the role is 100% remote, you'll spend approximately 30% of your time on-site with suppliers across the UK and mainland Europe. Therefore, a valid passport or visa allowing free travel to and from mainland Europe is essential.

What you'll be doing:

Working within a category-specific team, you'll be responsible for managing APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) activities with EMEA suppliers. This will involve significant travel to ensure successful supplier relationships and quality outcomes.

What we're looking for:

We need proactive and self-starting individuals with exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. You'll be adept at managing your own workload and collaborating effectively with internal stakeholders from all levels.

Essential "Must-Haves" for this role include:

  • A strong understanding of the PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) approval process.
  • Exposure to AIAG (Automotive Industry Action Group) standards.
  • Proven experience with Supplier Quality Core Tools.
  • Excellent APQP skills.
  • Experience in supplier maintenance.

If you're a flexible and collaborative professional ready to take on this exciting remote challenge, we want to hear from you!
