Our sequencing platform is unique, offering real-time analysis in scalable formats from pocket-sized to population-scale, capable of analyzing native DNA or RNA and sequencing any fragment length to achieve short to ultra-long reads. We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our Quality Assurance team as a Supplier Quality Engineer.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  1. Working closely with Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Goods-In, and Logistics teams to monitor supplier compliance to specifications and contractual agreements.
  2. Driving supplier quality management in line with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, medical device regulations, and CE directives.
  3. Supporting and ensuring effective problem resolution with suppliers through containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and verification of effectiveness.
  4. Implementing improvement plans to meet supplier quality and development metrics.
  5. Collaborating with suppliers involved in electronic assemblies, plastic formed parts, machined parts, and chemicals.
  6. Engaging with Procurement on supplier qualification, capability analysis, and quality management.
  7. Participating in routine supplier qualification, specification and process change control, permits, and CAPA activities.
  8. Supporting business continuity plans related to purchased material security.
  9. Proactively reviewing supplier risks and developing strategies for quality improvement at vendors and subcontractors.
  10. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement quality initiatives, staying updated on industry trends and best practices, and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  11. Performing other duties as required within the scope of the role.
What We're Looking For…

The ideal candidate will have a Degree in a Scientific or Engineering discipline and experience working within a regulated Quality Management System environment.

Experience in supplier qualification and performance monitoring, knowledge of quality tools and techniques, and willingness to travel locally and overseas are essential.

Qualifications as a lead auditor, knowledge of ISO 13485, experience with ERP systems, databases, and reporting software are advantageous.

Other qualities include attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities, strong communication skills, and a collaborative mindset suitable for a fast-paced environment.
