Tata Technologies: Engineering a better world. Tata Technologies is recruiting for a Lead STA Engineer, based in Gaydon, to design, engineer, and validate tomorrow's products for the world's leading manufacturers.

Our ER&D department is a fast growing function, assembling highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery, with responsibilities spanning APQP, PPAP, PFMEA reviews, and supplier development.

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree level within an engineering or business discipline (desirable).
• Experienced within a Vehicle Engineering/Quality function and familiar with the CCDS.
• Knowledge and experience of APQP/PPAP/8D.
• Able to facilitate resolution of complex cross-functional issues.
• Good leadership/negotiation/communication & interpersonal skills.
• Able to operate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
• Self-motivated & able to work on their own initiative.
• No restrictions for European travel.
• Full UK driving license (essential).

Responsibilities

• Improve quality systems and drive continuous improvement.
• Sourcing support.
• Support review of DFMEA and lead review of PFMEA and control plans.
• Advanced Product Quality planning (APQP).
• Phased production part approval process (PPAP).
• Launch support. (Commodity launch reviews and programme management)
• Warranty reduction (IQM system).
• Schedule and conduct field action/stop shipment reviews in cases of supplier responsible concerns.
• Build and develop the supplier relationship.

Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for a Lead STA Engineer, based in Gaydon. Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers. It comprises highly specialized engineers across Automotive, Aerospace and Industrial Heavy Machinery.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY

• Improve quality systems and drive continuous improvement.
• Sourcing support.
• Support review of DFMEA and lead review of PFMEA and control plans.
