Job description

Supplier Quality Engineer required for a world-leading precision manufacturing company, providing end-to-end solutions for a diverse range of customers. With over 60 years experience, this employer has developed a first-class reputation through its quality deliverables.

This role is based in HIGHBURTON, therefore the successful Supplier Quality Engineer will be able to commute from surrounding areas including Huddersfield, Mirfield, Dewsbury, Ossett, and Horbury for example.

Key Responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Engineer will include:
  1. Work with suppliers to ensure all products are supplied in accordance with Engineering and Manufacturing specifications as well as Business and Government standards.
  2. Investigate non-conformance with suppliers to ensure corrective actions and future non-conformance is mitigated.
  3. Maintain supplier performance through the recording of KPIs.
  4. Review new suppliers and manage the approval process.
  5. Audit suppliers both in the UK and abroad.
For the role of Supplier Quality Engineer, we are keen to receive applications from individuals who have:
  1. 3+ years experience in a Quality role within an Engineering or Manufacturing environment.
  2. Experience conducting internal and external audits and investigations.
  3. A solid understanding of ISO9001, AS9100, and ISO13485.
  4. Bachelor’s degree or HND/HCD.
  5. Ability to problem-solve whilst working individually and as part of a larger team.
Salary & Benefits:
  1. £45,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.
  2. 30 days annual leave (including public holidays).
  3. Combined pension of up to 19%.
  4. Profit share scheme – 5% of profit post tax.
