Responsibilities
  • Manage and support the Non-Conformance Process
  • Act as liaison between Engineering, Manufacturing, and Procurement for material issues
  • Conduct Supplier Audits, verify corrective actions, and drive improvements
  • Assist in First Article/First Piece Inspection and Configuration Audits (for our client or supplier sites)
  • Coach suppliers on PFMEA and Control Plan activities
  • Coordinate efforts for non-conforming material, engaging with design, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
  • Review data from incoming inspections and ensure compliance within inspection systems
  • Support the ISO 9001:2015 Supplier Quality System and assist with internal/external audits
  • Provide support during customer and DCMA visits related to part quality
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints regarding part quality
  • Evaluate and approve new suppliers, ensuring risk management and compliance
  • Partner with Supply Chain Management to approve/disapprove suppliers as required
  • Take responsibility for personal health and safety in line with company policy
Qualifications
  • Strong background in root cause analysis and leading problem-solving teams
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
  • Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, Minitab, and other QA tools
  • Skilled in GD&T and use of metrology equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
  • Experience with electronic components, PCBAs, and/or batteries
