Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer

Team Swift is seeking a passionate and experienced Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team during an exciting period in our industry! As a key member, you will ensure our suppliers deliver products and services that meet specifications, on time, and with continuous supply.

Collaborating with Manufacturing, Logistics, Design, and Purchasing teams, you will identify root causes of supplier quality issues and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence. This is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in a similar Quality Engineering role and excellent attention to detail. You should be confident working across multiple departments and passionate about enhancing supplier performance.

What does a typical day look like for a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer at Swift?

• Develop the supplier base to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
• Collaborate with Logistics, Purchasing, Design, and Manufacturing to ensure supplier conformity to specifications
• Manage production and warranty returns efficiently and economically
• Identify root causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions with suppliers
• Conduct supplier quality audits to ensure manufacturing conformance
• Monitor and communicate supplier performance via the Swift Supplier Performance system
• Perform internal audits aligned with ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 standards

Who are we looking for?

• HNC or equivalent in a technical discipline
• At least 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development and self-learning
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Goal-oriented and target-driven attitude
• Positive, proactive approach
