Job Description:

My Clients is looking for a "Supplier Performance Quality Leader (Special Processes)" for the manufacture and assembly of aircraft components and complex mechanisms.

* The ideal candidate will be from a high tolerance engineering background with complex assemblies of components into fully operational systems.
* You will need to have excellent suppler relationship experience and capable of managing parts availability, to the required quality standards, to meet
production demands.
* Proven ability in troubleshooting and problem solving using the following as a minimum: 8D, 5Y and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

About the role:-
* Strong Quality background in process systems for the manufacture of high-precision, mechanical components and assembly
* Troubleshooting and problem solving skills using 8D / 5Y RCA
* Logistics, purchasing, forecasting and demand planning with suppliers for production needs
* Special processes - chrome, cadmium, plating and coatings on metals and NDT etc
* Machined parts and assembly of parts - Hydraulic/mechanical components and assemblies
* Supplier visits - mostly UK based - European travel may be required but very minimal
* Hybrid working pattern available
