Position

To optimise effective relationships between Stark and energy suppliers and be primary operational contact for all suppliers across HH and MUS. Develop close relationships with top tier suppliers that are important to the growth and operational stability of Stark.

Technical Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Keep up to date with advances in business area, new methods and ways of working.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Confident and accurate use of departmental computer systems/databases.

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a deep understanding and knowledge of operational issues that impact supplier performance.
  • Apply a good understanding of settlement.
  • Compile regular and Adhoc reports from current systems to convey important information both internally and externally to suppliers. Help to drive operational process improvements.
  • Arrange and lead meetings with suppliers on a regular basis, with regular sessions over Teams as well as attending quarterly face to face meetings with the Supplier Channel team.
  • Assist suppliers that are currently or are at risk of being placed into EFR by Elexon. Help the supplier to identify areas of concern and work with them to improve performance on the portfolio of MPANs that are with Stark.
  • Work with operational colleagues to drive performance improvements and provide feedback from meetings.
  • Utilise reporting to forecast future supplier performance. Proactively identify, communicate, and plan for upcoming issues and trends.
  • Work closely with the Supplier Channel and support the team in operational conversations and tender activities.
  • Proactively knowledge share, encourage others to learn.
  • Participate in regular training/ learning activities to maintain and develop skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to all Stark policies, procedures and working practices.
  • Ensure the health and safety of yourself and others who may be affected by what you do; use work equipment provided safely and co-operate with managers to provide safe systems of work.
  • Any other reasonable duties as required.
