About the role

Booker is recruiting for a Supplier Media Manager, responsible for maximising income in line with the budget for all supplier digital media campaigns.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience in media and marketing, be highly organised and proactive. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills are required, as this role involves significant cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders and a diverse supplier base.

Main Responsibilities

Managing the supplier media budget across various channels:

Booker.co.uk (all websites)

Management of incremental supplier advertising income for web platforms, including:

• Collaborating with trading and digital teams to drive web advertising income in accordance with company policies, JBP, and category strategy.
• Managing and executing our online branded shop channel.

Food & Drink Guide (F&DG)

Managing incremental advertising income for F&DG publications, including:

• Working with trading and catering teams to increase advertising income following company policies.

Other marketing opportunities (e.g., Trade Shows)

Managing additional digital marketing activities, such as:

• Trade Shows
• Supplier-funded emails
• Monthly hard copy advertising opportunities
• Developing and presenting new revenue initiatives to the team

Dunnhumby Data Contracts

• Managing contracts within the budget constraints.

You will need

• Collaboration with Commercial Finance to ensure timely, correct, and GSCOP-compliant processing of supplier proposals and funding confirmations.
• Engagement with Marketing & Trading teams to generate additional advertising revenues through leaflets, mailings, and brochures.
• Proactive planning and collaboration with suppliers to fill all available slots.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with category teams and suppliers.
• Training and developing the skills of a team of four members through 1:1 or group sessions.
