You’ll ensure a full understanding of the services provided to your allocated business area(s) by strategic suppliers, engaging relevant internal stakeholders and reporting on performance, service, and risk exposures.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage key internal client and customer relationships. Ensure business objectives and supplier objectives remain aligned and within rules of business conduct. Govern the relationship for maximum value, including review meetings.
- Identify trends, summarise findings, and give feedback on existing contract performance, providing input to new contract negotiations/renegotiations.
- Deliver required outcomes by managing day-to-day relationships with contract service providers while working within a contract management plan, in line with regulatory supplier compliance management framework.
- Work with Procurement & Legal to review, maintain, and renegotiate the necessary legal contracts.
- Ensure that business activities within your area of responsibility comply with relevant external regulatory and voluntary codes and internal policies and procedures.
- Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints, escalating where appropriate.
- Plan and deliver stakeholder engagement activities to develop effective working relationships and ensure stakeholder needs and concerns are identified and addressed.
We need you to have
- Deep understanding of the Procurement & Supplier Management Policy and Framework.
- Experience of balancing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in a role within a supplier management environment in a large, regulated, or controlled environment.
- Knowledge of FCA/PRA regulations relating to outsourcing and supplier activity.
- Risk, Conduct, and Compliance Management skills.
- Excellent relationship management and influencing skills at all levels.
- Understanding of supplier commercial contracts.
And if you have any of these, even better
- Experience of Agile Ways of Working.
- Managing Suppliers as part of acquisition and divestment.
We don’t expect you to tick every box, and if you feel you meet most of the criteria, it’s worth exploring further to develop your career here with us.
