Please note: This role is field/home based, requiring travel to suppliers across the UK and visits to our offices in Trowbridge (Wiltshire) and Newbury (Berkshire) on a weekly basis.

Role overview: Reporting to our Head of Supplier Relationship Management, you'll work with colleagues to maximize the value of a portfolio of automotive categories, proactively managing relationships, ensuring SLA and contractual performance, and exploring cost efficiencies and innovations.

Key duties include:

• Identifying root causes of issues through regular liaison with stakeholders and suppliers, developing service improvement plans if needed.
• Continuously researching and developing supplier relationships to optimize value.
• Visiting suppliers across the UK to build long-term relationships aligned with customer interests.
• Line management responsibilities.

Candidate requirements: Proven experience managing automotive/vehicle leasing/fleet suppliers, strong relationship-building skills, customer focus, commercial acumen, and professionalism to challenge suppliers effectively.

Additional desired skills:

• Sound commercial decision-making within a broader business context.
• Ability to influence senior colleagues collaboratively.
• Understanding of automotive industry trends affecting supplier performance.
• Previous people management experience.
