Specsavers is seeking an experienced supplier management professional to shape our global lens supply strategy. The role involves managing supplier relationships, leading development plans, and collaborating with teams to ensure product compliance and value delivery. You’ll be responsible for managing and developing relationships with both strategic and transactional suppliers, ensuring a robust and competitive product portfolio. You’ll lead supplier development plans, mitigate risk, and support global initiatives that align with our long-term framework strategy through to 2030. Your work will directly impact our ability to serve more customers, more effectively, across multiple regions.
You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including category, finance, regulatory, and sustainability, ensuring that every product sourced meets both commercial and compliance standards. From lifecycle analysis and market surveillance to performance reporting and supplier negotiations, your influence will be felt across the business.
In this role you’ll bring a proactive mindset, strong stakeholder management skills and a strategic approach to supplier engagement. While experience in ophthalmic lenses is not essential, a background in supplier management and a keen eye for detail are key. You’ll thrive in a hybrid working environment, with travel as and when required.
