Job description

Join us as Supplier Manager at Barclays. You will manage and monitor supplier risk and performance to meet the requirements of the Barclays Third Party Service Provider Policy and Standards through control execution, commercial management, relationship, and risk management.

This role can be based out of Knutsford, Northampton, or Glasgow.

Purpose of the role

Manage and monitor supplier risk and performance to meet Barclays' standards through control execution, commercial management, relationship, and risk management.

Accountabilities
  • Management and execution of supplier control processes, including oversight of suppliers and their KPIs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to meet procurement needs, mitigate risks, and align supplier relationships with the bank’s strategy.
  • Identify suitable suppliers via market research, capability analysis, and contract negotiation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends through conferences and training.
  • Monitor suppliers’ control operations to meet standards and contractual obligations.
  • Support regulatory requests and ongoing compliance activities.
Analyst Expectations
  • Perform activities timely and to high standards, driving continuous improvement.
  • Possess in-depth technical knowledge and experience.
  • Lead and support team development, or develop technical expertise as an individual contributor.
  • Impact related teams and partner across functions.

  • Advise on decision-making, manage risks, and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
