About the role

We are recruiting for a Supplier Engagement Sustainability Manager to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with the Supplier Engagement team to build trusted partnerships with suppliers by providing resources and support related to our Sustainability and Technical priorities and strategies. You will act as the organiser and key contact for all Sustainability, Technical, and Quality activities, including owning the engagement strategy, managing the communications plan, organising webinars, and creating resources for suppliers on the training site.

You will work across different teams to identify opportunities that support the launch of new sustainability tools and processes, and to create and deliver training to help drive Tesco's sustainability strategy with our suppliers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Reporting to the Supplier Engagement team and working alongside the Sustainability and Technical teams to develop training and events for Product Supplier Partners.
  • Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including the Sustainability Programme Manager and Anthesis.
  • Managing sustainability data requests and coordinating communications, webinars, and training resources.
  • Organising technical events, managing webinars, and communicating standards and requirements.

Requirements:

  • Experience in retail/FMCG sectors.
  • Experience with engagement programmes in complex supply chains.
  • Experience in sustainability within supply chains or manufacturing.
  • Experience with developing and delivering presentations.
  • Experience in a learning role, identifying requirements and resources to support customers.
  • Knowledge of corporate sustainability issues.
