Job summary

Entech Technical Solutions Limited is seeking a Supplier Development Engineer for a global automotive company based in Peterlee. You will work with international teams to ensure the supplier network delivers high-quality materials and components for global customers.

The role focuses on supplier quality, capability improvement, and material compliance to meet manufacturing and regulatory standards. Travel across the UK and some Europe is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
• Experience in industrial manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of supplier quality and supply chain processes.
• Knowledge of PPAP / APQP processes.
• Leadership and strong stakeholder communication.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis.

Rate: £43/hour (Umbrella Inside IR35) or £31.50/hour PAYE

Duration: 24-month contract (likely to extend)

Start: ASAP

Travel: UK mostly, with some European travel
