Supplier Development Engineer, Dumbarton

We’re looking for a Supplier Development Engineer. This role can be based anywhere in the UK but there will be travel to our Lomondgate facility and to customer sites.

What you’ll do:

As a Supplier Development Engineer at Aggreko, your role involves ensuring the effective onboarding of suppliers and products, and managing supplier performance in quality, cost, delivery, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting supplier onboarding to ensure the selection of suitable suppliers for the business.
  • Participating in supplier audits and reviews to manage risks related to onboarding.
  • Assessing and reporting on supplier performance, and developing improvement plans to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Analyzing supplier performance data to identify risks and coordinate improvement activities.
  • Supporting change control activities, including PPAP, compliance evidence, and product approvals from engineering changes.

Who we’re looking for…

  • Experience in supplier development and auditing in a technical/engineering environment.
  • ISO 9001:2015 Certified Lead Auditor is desirable.
  • A full, clean, and valid driving license for travel to supplier sites.
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, flexibility, self-motivation, and initiative.
