Job summary

Babcock is seeking a Warehouse Operative to join the stores and logistics team at RAF Northolt, on-site. The role is full time, 37.5 hours per week, and requires the ability to maintain accurate stock and inventory records in a fast-paced environment.

You will support movement of equipment and spares, work with inventory systems, and collaborate across teams to ensure timely deliveries, while pursuing ongoing skills development within a respected global organisation.

The role

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll be part of a collaborative stores and logistics team responsible for supporting the storage, distribution and control of equipment and materials. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, values teamwork and wants to build a rewarding career supporting defence and aviation operations. You'll gain experience in inventory management, stock control and logistics processes while contributing to work that helps create a safe and secure world.

Day-to-day, you’ll be required to:

Essential experience of the Warehouse Operative:

• Demonstrable experience working within a logistics, stores, warehouse or similar operational environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
• Commitment to continuous learning and personal development.

Qualifications for the Warehouse Operative:

• Full UK driving licence.

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
