This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?

We're recruiting for a Trainee Supervisor to work on our Thames Water Lot 3 contract, predominately working our Acoustic Logging contract, covering both London & Thames Valley.
As a Trainee Supervisor you'll be part of our delivery team who are responsible for ensuring our health & safety commitments are adhered to, along with achieving all deliverables for our client. You'll provide leadership and operational expertise to the site teams, ensuring targets are set and understood.
You'll embed a positive safety culture whilst promoting Hazard and Near Miss reporting. Ensuring that all works are carried out in a safe manner and that teams comply with the relevant legislation and regulations whilst working.

We'll need to ensure SHEQ documentation is produced, maintained and briefed to the workforce and will own Control of permits, Site Inductions and Weekly SHEQ site audits.

You'll maintain productivity trackers and site statistics while coordinating stock availability with supply chain and our wider team. Always, ensuring a positive approach to dealing with members of the public.

You'll undertake toolbox talks, daily briefings, maintain check training records, safety inspections, incident reporting, weekly timesheets plant /material returns, weekly site measures.

What you’ll bring

- Do you hold a current driving licence? You will need to hold one to be considered for this role.
- Have you gained experience in a similar role within the water industry?
- Do you hold your street works supervisor ticket?
