Job description

Permanent, Full Time

We are looking to recruit a Repairs Supervisor to join us, based in Lincoln.

About the Role

Joining us as a Repairs Supervisor, you will lead a team as part of a project or defined work stream, driving excellent service standards and achievement of KPIs. You will assess resource requirements and support the management of daily activities, ensuring all team objectives are met within overall time, cost, and budget constraints.

You will manage team performance in line with company policy, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities.

You’ll hold regular review meetings, coaching, mentoring, and motivating staff, while identifying development needs. You’ll also be responsible for resolving complaints, informing management, and implementing action plans to address areas of dissatisfaction.

About You

Candidates should have significant technical knowledge from a trade background (e.g., plumbing, electrical, carpentry) and extensive proven experience. With solid knowledge of construction methods, technology, and materials, you’ll possess excellent time management, IT, and influencing skills, along with a proactive and flexible approach.

You must hold a Level 3 trade qualification or Supervisor NVQ and a Blue CSCS card.

We are looking for someone with a strong track record in asset/project management and delivering major works contracts, with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility. Collaboration with colleagues, suppliers, and residents is essential.

Experience in social housing is particularly desirable.

You must hold a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months.
