Job summary

Compass Group UK&I ESS Defence division in Swindon is recruiting a dedicated Supervisor on a full-time basis (36.25 hours per week) to help ensure smooth operations and high quality work across Defence sites.

You will lead a frontline team, manage rotas, assist with stock and bookwork, and uphold food safety and health & safety standards while delivering excellent customer service in demanding environments.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supervising frontline teams in a similar environment.
• Strong customer service focus and communication skills.
• Ability to manage rotas and weekly bookwork.
• Demonstrates leadership under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team and creating a positive, welcoming environment.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and other duties as needed.
• Producing weekly rotas following manager guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain correct levels.
• Delegating where necessary and keeping the team proactive.
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
