Salary Range: $44,000-50,500

Responsibilities

How will you make an impact?

• Manage aircraft gate planning and ramp movements as the primary control point.
• Oversee gate planning and ensure the integrity of the daily schedule.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with work groups, vendors, and management to meet station requirements and support safety objectives.
• Support and supervise agents responsible for weight and balance planning of American Eagle flights.
• Control aircraft movements on the ramp/gate areas safely and efficiently to meet operational priorities for all carriers under the American Eagle brand and other airlines operating in Dallas/Fort Worth.
• Coordinate with Air Traffic Control to prioritize high-value flights without disrupting airport surface movements, making decisions on holding or pushing flights using all available tools.
• Assist management with additional administrative duties as needed.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Minimum age: 18
• High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
• Valid, unexpired, and unsuspended driver’s license
• Ability to work rotating shifts including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and days off
• Strong active listening skills and the ability to understand and ask questions effectively
• Sound business judgment to resolve issues with internal and external customers
• Ability to monitor and assess performance for improvements or corrective actions
• Prioritization skills with a sense of urgency and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English
• Legal right to work in the United States
• Previous Air Traffic Control experience preferred
• 2+ years of airline operational experience, including weight and balance planning preferred
• Mathematical skills for calculations preferred
• Knowledge of company programs like Ascent, Aris, GM, GETNG, VantagePoint preferred
