Job summary

C J Lang & Son Ltd, the SPAR Scotland wholesaler, invites applications for a part-time Supervisor role at SPAR Byron Square Northfield, Aberdeen. You’ll support the Store Manager in daily operations and lead a small team to deliver outstanding service.

The position focuses on customer service, stock control, and merchandising, with duties including opening/closing, cash handling, and maintaining store standards at Northfield AB16 7LL. 16 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Customer service excellence is required.
• Cash handling and till balancing must be accurate.
• Merchandising to planograms and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, efficient customer service to meet customer needs in all areas of the store (Retail, Food to Go, PO Local).
• Open and close the store.
• Attend call outs if the store alarm is activated during non-trading hours.
• Supervise and support team members on shift, allocate tasks to ensure duties are completed.
• Cash up and balance tills in line with company cash procedures.
• Promote the image and brand of the company through professional behavior and presentation.
• Merchandise store according to store standards and company planograms.
• Actively sell and promote offers to customers and process all sales transactions.
• Adhere to all company security measures to protect colleagues and stock.
• Use the relevant systems for price checking, shelf edge labeling and stock control.
• Deputise and provide cover for the Store Manager in their absence.
• Follow all current company procedures in line with current legal requirements.
• Complete all relevant training requirements to fulfil the role.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the store at all times.

We are looking for a Supervisorto join our team at SPAR Northfield, Aberdeen

As a Supervisor you will work as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service at all times whilst upholding the Company Values. This will involve assisting the Store Manager with the day to day running of the store.

ACTIVITIES
