Job summary

Murphy in the Highlands seeks a Groundwork Supervisor to oversee groundworks on a major energy infrastructure project. You will lead teams, conduct site inspections, monitor equipment use and safety, and provide on-site leadership to keep works on schedule.

Qualifications

• SSSTS or SMSTS certification required.
• Experience supervising groundworks on infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of groundwork processes and techniques.
• Nice to have energy sector experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

As a Groundwork Supervisor you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating groundworks activities on our project.

What Your Day Will Include

• Supervising and leading groundworks teams to ensure works are completed on time.
• Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards are being met.
• Monitoring equipment usage and maintenance to optimise productivity.
• Providing on-site leadership, guidance and support to the groundworks crew.

What We Need From You

• SSSTS / SMSTS
• Previous experience supervising Groundworks projects
• In-depth knowledge of groundwork processes and techniques
• Experience of working within energy sector would be an advantage.
• Strong communicator
• Strong team player with the ability to build solid working relationships across the team.
• Flexibility to travel and stay away from home.
• UK driving licence.
