Job summary

JobMatcha is seeking an experienced Groundworks Supervisor for a major infrastructure project in Leiston, Suffolk. You will supervise groundworks and civils teams on site, coordinate daily activities and ensure work is completed safely and on programme.

The ideal candidate holds SSSTS and CSCS, with strong leadership and communication skills, and is available to start on Monday for an immediate start.

Qualifications

• SSSTS certification is essential.
• CSCS card is required.
• Experience supervising groundworks or civils projects.

Groundworks Supervisor - Immediate Start (Monday)

Location: Leiston, Suffolk (IP17)

Rate: £27.50 per hour (CIS)

Duration: Long-term ongoing work

We are recruiting an experienced Groundworks Supervisor for a major infrastructure project in Leiston, Suffolk. This is a long-term opportunity with an immediate start on Monday, so we are looking for candidates who are available to begin straight away.

Responsibilities

• Supervising groundworks and civils teams on site
• Coordinating daily activities to ensure work is completed safely and on programme
• Promoting and maintaining high health & safety standards
• Liaising with site management and subcontractors
• Monitoring productivity and quality of work
• Happy to muck in as and when needed

Requirements

• SSSTS (essential)
• Valid CSCS Card
• Previous experience supervising groundworks or civil engineering projects
• Strong understanding of site health & safety procedures
• Good communication and leadership skills
• Available to start on Monday
