We are seeking a dedicated General Supervisor to join our team at HMP Bedford, a Category B & Adult/Male prison. Join a team that is more than just colleagues – we work Monday-Friday as a supportive family, creating a safe and nurturing environment.

HMP Bedford operates like a self-contained town, requiring hundreds of staff to keep it functioning. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, your role is vital in ensuring smooth and safe operations, impacting prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.

In this role, you will work alongside experienced colleagues such as Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to making a positive difference and providing a secure environment. We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS, seeking a General Supervisor with experience in:

• Excellent organisational, time management, and people skills
