Job summary

GO Outdoors LTD is seeking a Supervisory role to empower our in-store teams in York and the surrounding area. You will deliver outstanding customer service, guide colleagues on the shop floor, and help maintain brand standards and product presentation.

In this fast-paced retail environment, you will monitor service levels, support with till operations, and contribute to a positive, customer-first store culture. This role offers opportunities for development and progression within GO Outdoors.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or team-leader experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to guide and support colleagues on the shop floor.
• High attention to detail to uphold service, presentation and store standards.
• Interest in retail trends and the ability to reflect company values in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by supporting customers, resolving queries, and ensuring team presentation meets standards.
• Support sales performance by monitoring service levels and helping customers access the full product range.
• Maintain strong visual and operational standards by keeping the shop floor clean and aligned with brand expectations.
• Assist with daily operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and till operations.
