Overview

Disrepair Supervisor – Walton on Thames. Contract: Temporary to Permanent. Pay rate: £27 per hour.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, motivate, and manage a team of multi-trade operatives to deliver efficient and high-quality disrepair works.
  • Conduct pre-inspections to diagnose disrepair issues and scope the necessary work.
  • Oversee all active disrepair cases, ensuring work is carried out to specifications and within agreed-upon timescales.
  • Conduct post-inspections to ensure a high-quality finish and resident satisfaction.
  • Liaise directly with tenants, surveyors, and legal teams to provide updates and resolve any concerns.
  • Ensure all works comply with current housing legislation and health and safety regulations.
  • Provide regular reports on project progress, costs, and team performance.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a supervisor in a reactive repairs or maintenance setting.
  • A strong background in managing housing disrepair cases is a must.
  • A solid technical understanding and a relevant trade background (e.g., plumbing, carpentry, plastering).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A full UK driving license.
