Supervisor, Continuous Improvement

DSV is recruiting for a Supervisor, Continuous Improvement at Raunds.

Overview:

This role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing waste, and driving business growth through the implementation of best practices and process improvements. It also emphasizes production stability, cost savings, and sustainability.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives aligned with DSV and their customer's strategic goals.
  2. Analyze logistics processes to find areas of waste or inefficiency.
  3. Develop and execute improvement strategies in collaboration with the customer.
  4. Manage improvement projects from start to finish, ensuring timely delivery and objectives are met.
  5. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of initiatives, making adjustments as needed.
  6. Develop performance metrics and reporting systems to track progress.
  7. Present progress reports and data to Management.
  8. Utilize tools like Six Sigma, Lean, or Kaizen to drive improvements.
  9. Build strong relationships with internal and external partners.
  10. Maintain production stability by identifying and mitigating disruptions.
  11. Implement cost-saving measures to improve financial efficiency.
  12. Conduct training and workshops on continuous improvement for staff.
  13. Promote sustainable practices to minimize environmental impact.
  14. Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the organization.
  15. Support team members with coaching on process improvement methodologies.
  16. Collaborate with managers and stakeholders for smooth change implementation.
