Job Title: Junior Management Team Member
Being part of the store’s Junior Management team, you will provide managerial support and help maintain and improve customer service levels throughout your section. You will assist in supervising staff while maintaining shop floor standards and handle certain managerial processes as instructed by Store Management.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, handle complaints and inquiries effectively, ensure staff appearance aligns with company guidelines, and understand the Customer Service measuring programme.
- Sales & Store Standards: Achieve and exceed targets, monitor staff service levels, utilize in-store devices to showcase products, use reports for product placement, and attract and motivate customers with visual techniques.
- Stock & Visual Merchandising: Maintain stock presentation and ensure the shopfloor is clean and visually appealing.
- Training & Development: Support personal progression, assist with induction and training of new staff, and help develop existing personnel through relevant assessments.
Role Objectives & KPIs:
- Maintain high customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service.
- Drive sales through effective merchandising, stock replenishment, and team motivation.
- Lead and develop the shopfloor team to ensure high performance and adherence to policies.
- Keep the shopfloor organized and visually appealing to enhance the shopping experience.
Skills & Experience:
- Retail management or supervisory experience is advantageous.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in IT tools such as Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
